I had an iPad generation 3, I think, it was very nice I love using the iPad until I dropped it one day and the screen cracked on it. I was so upset about that and every day I used it was upset of my foolishness of dropping and not having it in a case. One day I saw that was able to get an iPad air 2 on at&t next program so I could get a new iPad and pay monthly for it, this could work. I did it and received my new iPad air 2 yes it will be able to use data but that’s ok I won’t use it unless I need to and everything will be fine.
I have enjoyed how smaller it is and how it is more powerful than the one I have or had, also having the lightning plug was much better than the 30 pin I had before, the 30 pin plugs have been lasting for a short time because it kept breaking and I was tired of that. By the way, if you use some Sugru right under the plug it will last longer, even the new cables too. I will write something on the surge later but this iPad was wonderful. With my eyes being so bad I use it to take pictures of recipes on a box to be able to read them and have a bigger screen for those kind of stuff, than my iPhone. I was also able to use it for directions on bottles or boxes of things I need to know how to use. It is very helpful with being able to view things and make it larger than what my iPhone can make it. The iPad air 2 has a better camera that can take better pictures to view what I need to see better.
