Shaving by someone that was never taught but has done some research on it and tried it.

I want to start out that I was never taught how to shave, i don’t know if my brothers were taught but I know that i was not.in junior high I had a face full of white hairs and was told i probagfpg_0bly should shave, so I asked dad and he said I could use his razor and when i opened the cabinet i saw his electric razor so I asked if I could use that instead.  He said that i could so I used it for my first shave and many more after that, but I am not sure if this is the reason my facial hair grows in a spiral on my cheeks or not, but it does.  When I shave with razor and cream I have to shave up, down, left and right, to make sure i get it all now.

Since i have not been taught and now I can research online the information I need I have learned some good tips that I thought I would like to share.

  1. I never knew to do this but ALWAYS dry the razor off after you use it.  I have just found this out and I have been using the same razor for more than 3 weeks, and that doesn’t usually happen.  The razors i use are expensive and I don’t like buying them because they are so expensive, so I’m doing this and it still feels like the first or second time I used the razor even though it is not.
  2. I feel that shaving gel works better than the cream.  This is more of an opinion that a tip, but I think it is well worth mentioning.

That is pretty much all I have as far as tips, but with drying off the razor is a huge thing, in my research someone used a dollar store razor for almost a year, and since my face likes the razor in the feature image at very top, I would LOVE to save money n buying less of these razors.  I have also used the razor in this area, not the very top, I am not going to name the brand.  I have also tried the mail order subscription razor to save that way too, but their razor did not like my face, i was so glad they were free except I had to pay $3 shipping.  I didn’t think that was too bad to be able to try a new razor.  I have not used straight razor nor the razor you put a blade in and close it.  I have wanted to try those but have not had a chance to buy one to give it a try.  I can not saw if these are better or worse.

Electric razors.  I started out shaving with one like I said before, but I bought a different one when i got older and when I was working a 9 to 5 job, and I did not like it, it gave me such a burn on my face like a sun burn, it was tough to get over it.  I tried it for weeks then put it away and stopped using it.  Then when i moved I found it again and tried it again with same result.  I feel so bad paying that kind of money for something like that, then to not use it.  UG.  I have researched on these razors too but with no success, maybe I need to try a different model or something.

I want to end with this, when drying off razor I just hold a towel in my hand and smack the razor on the towel enough times to where I think it is dry enough, that can differ for you.  I also put razor up so it could get moist again after I dried it.  I also heard you should never shave with a rusty razor becia=uase if it cuts you it can get infected, and i know I dont want that.  The end is that you can take my tips and use them if not shave safe and always come back a read anything I have here it might be helpful, if not let me know what I should write about.
